Children's Place Atelier is a home school serving children ages 9 months to 5 years old and their families. Located in the urban area of Los Angeles, the school is rich in love for learning and nature. Its bright and has a home-like environment, with space for active play outdoors and quiet activities. Our educational philosophy is based on the Reggio Emilia Approach. Children are viewed as protagonists in their learning and are encouraged to work in collaboration with their peers to co-construct new theories and ideas. Educators balance activities with free play in a program that helps children to develop emotionally, physically and intellectually as they learn about themselves and the world around them. Our program offers the enriching educational opportunities of a traditional preschool, combined with optional summer programs. We offer families flexibility in choosing which days their child attends and for how long, allowing each family to create the experience that is right for their child.
